Printing Information

Big floor maps are printed in large strips of vinyl banner material and welded together in huge warehouse spaces. Our 4K departmant does NOT print these maps, but we provide the files to you—the client—and recommend professional printing companies for you to use for such a big task.

Step 1: Download a 4K floor map file from our Big Floor Map collection on the previous page.

Step 2: Find a grand format printer. These are printing companies with machines that can print larger than 3 meters width at a time and can weld the printed strips into one large piece. We have recommended some printers below.

Step 3: Provide them with the downloaded 4K Floor Map file. It is a vector, PDF that should be enlarged by the printer to the floor size you want. If they do not know how to do this, or they say they need to convert the file to a different format, or they say the size of the file needs to change, it is our experience that the printer you have chosen may not be qualified to handle your map order.
